Team/Player Check-In Responsibilities
Primary Job Duties & Expectations
- Provide a Great Customer Experience
- Greet coaches and players with “Hello” and a smile, using proper manners/being personable, and remember that you are representing Prep Network.
- Properly check in all coaches and players
- Wear the staff shirt provided by Prep Network
- Do NOT use your phone for personal use.
On-Site Responsibilities
Pre-Event
- Arrive 1 hour and 30 minutes early
- Find & Connect with the Event Director for the Team Meeting
- Locate Courts/Fields (#s)/Bathrooms/Water Fountains/Concessions/Athletic Trainer/Vendors
- You should know what courts/fields are at what site.
During the Event
- Assign wristbands to coaches, players, and handle quick questions.
- You will also check in scouts, Prep Network staff, and media professionals.
- Media professionals contracted by Prep Network will check in at team check-in.
- They will receive a media lanyard to keep.
- Stay at the Team Check-In table until all coaches are checked in.
- Once the team check-in process is complete, the team/player check-in workers become a flex worker.
- Reach out/track down the Event Director to see if they could use any assistance.
- Thank the spectators, teams, and coaches for attending the event at the exit.
