Setup Details
Estimated Set Up Time: 45 Minutes (with 3-4 staff)
Set Up Overview:
The PRZ Tournament director and PRZ staff are responsible for full set-up of the SKLZ activation.
Everything except laser timers & inflatable arch should be set-up Friday night, with a photo (or photos) shared with Cooper Olson (651-356-9443) at the end of set-up on Friday for confirmation.
Laser timers must be charged overnight and Friday Night. Please find an available power source and plug them in to charge at the end of set up on Friday.
Set-Up Map:
SKLZ Laser Timers:
We have shipped 4 boxes of SKLZ laser timers to each tournament.
THESE TIMERS MUST BE CHARGED FRIDAY NIGHT
Please find the timers and a nearby power source (hotel room, house, etc. is okay too) and plug in the timers to charge overnight.
These do not need to be set up on Friday.
They can be placed on the SKLZ table/inside the SKLZ tent Saturday AM and will be set up by the Speed Labs staff.
The lights on the timers will turn green when they are fully charged.
Directional A-Frames:
We have 2 directional A-frames that will point attendees to the Speed Challenge area.
These should be placed near admissions or in any common gathering areas to encourage attendees to go check out the booth
Feather Flags:
Each activation comes with 4 SKLZ feather flags.
These should be set up and used to border the area where the 40 yard dash will take place.
White Board A-Frame
Each activation comes 1 with whiteboard A-frame.
This should be set up next to the SKLZ tent and used as a on-site leaderboard to show the top time of the day
SKLZ Tent
Each activation kit has 1 SKLZ tent, complete with back wall and side walls.
*NOTE* the back wall and side walls must be set up in addition to the tent body. See photo for completed set up of the tent.
SKLZ Table Wrap
1 table should be placed inside of the SKLZ tent. Use the SKLZ table wrap here.
Speed Challenge Registration QR Codes
On top of the SKLZ table inside of the tent, please place the 3-5 laminated Speed Challenge registration “signs”.
These are 8.5x11 printed out pieces of paper that look like this:

SKLZ Staff Shirts
There are 6 yellow SKLZ staff shirts. Please place them on the table inside of the SKLZ tent so they are easy to find for the Speed Labs staff.
THESE MUST BE WORN by the Speed Labs staff when they arrive on Saturday. If they are not wearing them, please remind them they are being paid to wear them and kindly ask them to put them on.
SKLZ Media Back Drop
There is one Speed Challenge media backdrop included for each activation. Please set this up and place near the SKLZ tent, so it can be used by the activation’s photographer and videographer.
SKLZ Inflatable Arch
There is one inflatable arch for each activation, along with a corresponding pump.
Please find the closest power source to the activation space, plug in the pump, and inflate the arch. Use an extension cord if available to move the pump/arch as close to the activation space as possible.
The pump must stay on and connected to the arch for it to remain standing.
Please use the ropes and hooks included in the package to help secure the arch in place so it doesn’t fall over.
If it is extremely windy, do not inflate the arch. The arch can be set up Saturday morning so it isn’t blown over overnight.
