Team/Player Check-In Responsibilities

Primary Job Duties & Expectations

  1. Provide a Great Customer Experience
    1. Greet coaches and players with “Hello” and a smile, using proper manners/being personable, and remember that you are representing Prep Network.
  2. Properly check in all coaches and players (and assign wristbands to all coaches & players for Prep RedZone events)
  3. Wear the staff shirt provided by Prep Network
  4. Do NOT use your phone for personal use.

On-Site Responsibilities

Pre-Event

  1. Arrive 1 hour and 30 minutes early
    1. Find & Connect with the Event Director for the Team Meeting
  2. Locate Fields (#s)/Bathrooms/Water Fountains/Concessions/Athletic Trainer/Vendors
  3. You should know what fields are at what site.

During the Event

1. Scan the QR code below for the tournament check-in process using your phone camera. You will be provided a link from your Director for access.

  1. If you were not provided with this link within 2 days of the event, please reach out to your Event Director.
  2. Follow the process to check-in athletes.
  3. You will collect athlete measurements - height, weight, hand measurement, and tests.
  4. Three coaches per team are issued a “Coach Admission” ticket that you can scan like a QR code. This ensures they have the specific outlined group of coaches.

Here is what the ticket looks like-

  1. You will also check in scouts, Prep Network staff, and media professionals.
  • Media professionals contracted by Prep Network will check in at team check-in.
  • They will receive a media lanyard to keep.

  1. Assign wristbands to coaches and players.
  2. Handles checking in coaches, coach wristbands, player wristbands & quick questions.
  3. Stay at the Team Check-In table until all coaches are checked in.
  4. Once the team check-in process is complete, the team/player check-in workers become a flex worker.
  5. Reach out/track down the Event/Site Director to see if they could use any assistance.
  6. Thank the spectators, teams, and coaches for attending the event at the exit.
